"Congrats to Senior Catcher Mathew Emerson for being named the CIF/Saugus High School representative of the Individual Male Academic Student Athlete Award. Mathew's GPA was the highest of any male athlete submitted by our school to the CIF for the 2009-10 school year. As a team, we placed #13 in all CIF schools with over a 1500 student population. Our Team GPA of 3.252 was the highest of any team in the Greater San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley."
